Fred Dodsworth, a man not shy of an abundance of charm and energy, speaks out about his choices to go back to school and sheds a little light for those who may be seeking guidance when coming out of the university tunnel in hopes of a degree.
Among his long list of jobs mentioned in the video, to name a few more, Dodsworth has also been a feature editor and front page columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, he also has helped launch the Contra Costa Exclusive, the Berkeley Daily Planet and the East Bay Daily News.
Even though Dodsworth may not “need” this bachelor’s degree in creative writing to add to his resume, what he has gained is a community of friends and skills he can use every day. If anything, it isn’t the age that matters — it’s the attitude.

Hi,
I think that many people feel a sense of needing / wanting to achieve something and when they feel or know they can do it, then they should. Creative writing is a good way of expressing ones self and also lets people share what they believe in and is a great way to express yourself. There are creative writing courses out there – I did one and it really helped me with different aspects of how to go about conducting good writing practices. If anyone is interested or if you just want some information / advice, look here. http://www.writersbureau.com/blog/writers-block/2012/02/
