The San Francisco State Wind Ensemble will perform a special Star Wars multimedia show this Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, in Knuth Hall. Clips from all 6 Star Wars films will be projected behind the ensemble while it performs selections from the series soundtrack. This is the first time the wind ensemble has incorporated multimedia assets into its live concerts.

The show begins at 7:30 pm, but a silent auction will be held at 6:30, in efforts for the wind ensemble to raise funds for future events for students.

After the Star Wars multimedia presentation, student conductor Charles Barrett will conduct “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson and “Trauermusik” by Richard Wagner.
